FOR ARTISTS & COLLABORATORS
Creativity can connect us, comfort us, and help us heal.
The Loved One's Project brings artists and creatives together to use their work in meaningful ways. Offering care, reflection, and connection through creativity.
From portraits to poetry, dance to design, every act of making can help people explore grief and remember love.
Whether you're an artist, writer, musician, or maker, your creativity has the power to make a difference in someone's story.

Portrait Collaboration
Our ongoing project, Drawn Together, pairs artists with portrait requests from individuals and families who've experienced loss or change.
These portraits aren't about perfection; they're about empathy, connection, and the quiet power of turning memory into something visible.
Every participating artist helps someone see love and loss in a new way.

HOW IT WORKS:

1. Apply to Join
Send a short introduction and examples of your work. You can offer to create a single portrait or several. Whatever suits your time and capacity.

2. Receive a Story
We'll connect you with a portrait request and provide all the necessary details. You'll create the piece in your own style, guided by our shared values of respect, care, and authenticity.

3. Be Featured
All contributing artists are featured on The Loved One's Project website, and social media, where we will share your portrait and link to your work. It's a way to recognise the passion and creativity you bring.

Creative Collaboration
The Loved One's Project is built on the belief that healing can take many creative forms.
We're always open to collaborating with artists, musicians, writers, dancers, poets, textile makers, and photographers - anyone who wants to explore how creativity can help people navigate loss and connection.
If you have an idea for a workshop, installation, event, or creative project that could support others through grief and remembrance, we'd love to hear from you.
Together, we can find new ways to express, connect, and care through art in all its forms.

Why Collaboration Matters

Art provides people with a means to express what words cannot convey.
Through collaboration, we are making healing visible, showing that creativity isn't just a personal expression, but an act of community and care.
Every artist who joins The Loved One's Project helps expand the meaning of supporting one another through creativity.
