These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, products, events, and initiatives operated under The Loved One's Project.

By using this website, submitting an application, purchasing a product, commissioning artwork, or participating in events, you agree to the following terms.
1. Intellectual Property​
All branding, text, content, designs, and artwork created under The Loved One's Project are the property of The Loved One's Project unless otherwise stated.
Artwork created for clients remains protected under The Loved One's Project to safeguard the integrity of the project and clients' privacy.
Clients may use their commissioned artwork for personal use only unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Loved One's Project is the only official platform where authentic products and artwork are sold. We are not responsible for third-party reproductions or copies of our designs.
2. Free Portraits
Free portrait recipients are selected through a randomised system.
If selected, the client will be notified and must confirm acceptance before work begins.

Once confirmation is received:

The Loved One's Project will notify the client that artwork has begun

No further updates will be provided during the creation process

No revisions are offered on free portraits
3. Commissioned Portraits (Paid)
Commission requests are reviewed before acceptance.

If approved:

A payment link will be sent

Full payment is required upfront

Artwork will not begin until payment is complete
​
One round of minor revisions is included.
Artwork is non-refundable once work has begun.
Personalised commissioned portraits are non-refundable due to their custom nature.
4. Products
All products are sold exclusively via The Loved One's Project website.
We do not authorise resale or third-party reproduction.

Personalised Products
Personalised items cannot be refunded or returned once production has begun.
​
Non-Personalised Products
Under UK consumer law, non-personalised physical goods may be returned within 14 days of receipt if unused and in original condition. Return postage is the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty.
​
Digital products are non-refundable once delivered.
5. Events, Workshops & Creative Circle
Events and workshops are ticketed unless stated otherwise.
​Creative Circle sessions operate on a pay-what-you-can basis to maintain accessibility and sustainability.
​Participation is voluntary.
​The Loved One's Project is not a substitute for professional mental health services.
​We reserve the right to remove participants from sessions if behaviour is disruptive, harmful, or inappropriate. ​
6. Creative Circle & Community Contributions
If participants share artwork during initiatives such as "Prompt of the Month": ​

Artwork will only be shared publicly with explicit consent.

Participants retain ownership of their submitted artwork

By submitting work, participants grant The Loved One's Project permission to feature it (if consent is given) on social media, newsletters, or public publications.

Consent will always be requested before sharing.
7. Artist Agreements
Artists contributing to The Loved One's Project agree to:

Complete commissioned or assigned work professionally and respectfully

Maintain client confidentiality

Not to post completed artwork publicly without written agreement from The Loved One's Project and the client.

Respect the sensitive nature of submitted reference materials.

Artists may be credited, interviewed, and featured in newsletters, zines, or promotional materials if they choose to.
​
All artwork created under The Loved One's Project falls under project protection to safeguard client privacy and brand integrity.
8. Use of Artwork & Marketing
Finished portraits may only be shared publicly with the client's consent.
Client-submitted reference photographs will never be shared publicly without explicit permission.
9. Liability
The Loved One's Project is not liable for:

Emotional outcomes resulting from artwork or participation in events.

Delays caused by postal providers

Indirect losses or damages arising from use of the website or services
10. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website consitutes acceptance of any changes.
